## Educational licence

NESA grants a limited, non-exclusive licence to:

- teachers employed in NSW government schools,
- teachers employed in registered non-government schools, and
- parents of children registered for home schooling in NSW,

to use, modify and adapt the NSW syllabuses for non-commercial educational
use only. Adaptation must not have the effect of bringing NESA into
disrepute.

This licence does NOT extend to private or home tutoring companies,
professional learning service providers, publishers, or other organisations
— whether commercial or not — outside the categories listed above.

## General restrictions

Outside the educational licence above, no part of this material may be
reproduced, modified, republished, or transmitted to any other person or
stored electronically in any form, in Australia or any other country, by
any process, without the prior written permission of NESA — except as
permitted by the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) (e.g. research or study,
criticism or review, reporting news, parody or satire, or reproducing a
single copy for personal bona fide study use).

Any use of this content must:
- retain this copyright notice,
- acknowledge NESA as the source, and
- not state or imply that NESA endorses, is affiliated with, or sponsors
  the reuse.

## Excluded materials

Third-party copyright material referenced within NESA syllabuses (for
example photographs, diagrams, or extracts from other works) is excluded
from any NESA licence and requires separate permission from the relevant
copyright owner.
